Fees For Our Work
Fees in respect of our litigation work (including costs and commercial litigation) are subject to a private retainer which shall be mutually you the Client and ourselves. Such an agreement will be based on the nature and the amount in dispute.
An hourly rate of £217.00 per hour will be charged which is based on the rates set by the Court. VAT will also be charged at the current prevailing rate of 20%.
Court Fees
Court fees vary from £105.00 to 5% of the value of the claim. The maximum Court fee is capped at £10,000.00.
Disbursements
Again, the type of disbursements (for example, expert reports) will depend on the nature of the dispute but they typically vary from £200.00 plus VAT to £5,000.00 plus VAT.
